Napolean Hill continues to motivate people. Vince Lombardi was a genius. These men understood what it takes to achieve your goals.

Burning Desire and Will are the keys to your success.

I like your style, no holding hands, but you certainly do guide.

well. I can understand your feelings about this, but before going into more conclusions we need to think this... Are you sure search bots can't read the link directory?

I own a forum, and i treat bots like high grade members, with access to all my forum sections.... But my users don't know that... Perhaps, it is the same case in the forum you mention?

do a google search for the directory url... .maybe that can explain soemthing

thanks for sharing this.

actually, while i was reading your post i tried to recall on the directory and listings i've submitted my site. well for a beginner like me who needs traffic and backlinks, i'd definitely think that free submission on directories and listings are good.

I've done payperpost, and in fact my "blog" was started for the express purpose of making money via paid posting. It gives me somewhere to vent, sure, but I could just as easily have done that via my "Hungry Hacker" website.

I think the problem in general is deeper than this entry makes out though. You're expecting serious editorial credibility from a blog, and I think that's where the mistake is. Bloggers take themselves too seriously in general, they act like they're the equivalent of the old media when that's just not the case. A paper journalist has real repercussions when he/she writes something bad, a blogger has none of that. Stop taking blogging so seriously.

Sure, there are some people who spam PPP entries in their blogs, but it's likely I wouldn't have wanted to read what that person was writing about anyway. I occasionally write for PPP, but only when it's something I have used and/or believe in, and despite what you say, that's the truth. I also write for PayU2Blog, which give mandatory keywords and occasionally it's difficult to reconcile keywords of things like "diet pills" with what I believe in but because they don't set the tone of the entry it's not impossible. I use these opportunities as a catalyst to write something I probably would have written anyway if I weren't so lazy, and I make a few bucks up front so I don't have to resort to 400 ad widgets.

If someone's going to not read my site because of the paid content, they probably weren't going to read it anyway. I like to think I'm different than the par for the course for most paid posting blogs, but my rule goes for them too - I'll either read the content or I won't, how they make their money is irrelevant to me, the reader.

And by the way, given that most of the prominent earners from PPP seem to be Filipino nowadays, $4.25/hour is more than acceptable for them and worth spending the 18 hours a day. Again though, I probably wouldn't be interested in what they have to say even if they weren't doing PPP.

All in all, I think your argument's off base and largely irrelevant. There's so much trash content out there in the blogging world already, and the vast majority of it has nothing to do with PPP.

i do paid reviews too. matter of fact, i do paid reviews from ppp, social spark, blogvertise, blogtoprofit, payutoblog, smorty, sponsoredreviews, etc.

i put up my blog mainly to "blog". however, when i was presented with an opportunity to earn money through blogging, why not?

i can totally understand your point of view as there are those who put up 4-5 blogs just so their blogs can generate income through their paid reviews. some blogs have no content at all just paid reviews. in such cases, the blogger probably blogs for other sites and not ppp or social spark as these two sites require an unpaid post before and after a paid post.

i earn about $400 a month for doing paid posts. converted to philippine pesos, that amount is roughly equivalent to 18,000 php - enough to pay for some of my household bills. if google had not spanked me, i would be earning more.

bottom line. let us be. we blog for money because we need the money. if only i have the capacity to drive thousands of visitors to my site and click all my adsense, then maybe i won't have to do paid post.

i gather you won't be dropping ECs on blogs that do paid posts anymore. well i guess these blogs better reciprocate your action then. cheers.

i understand what you mean, but you shouldn't go all harsh.

if you hate seeing PPP posts on blogs, then teach those bloggers other means of earning money online. you should know why they had to do plenty of paid reviews in the first place.

and I assume this post somewhat increased your blog's traffic?

anyway, happy new year. :)
