Traffic coming into SlamBlogger.com has increased significantly. I still haven’t spent a single dime on this website, except for buying the domain. Most of the traffic is coming from referrers at the moment (blogs, Entrecard, commenting, etc.).
I plan to do a bit of guest posting later this week on a few larger blogs in my niche. This should help to get my name out there, and find more subscribers.
SlamBlogger already has over 100 subscribers for the first time, later this week - s I can’t complain at all, with the limited amount of promotion this site has received so far. They say the first 100 is the hardest.
With that said, I’ve decided to kick start the monetizing. OIOpublisher is up and running, which means purchasing an ad spot is painless. However, since this is the first month that I’m seeking advertisers, I’m going to launch with a special promo:
Your advertisements will run for 30 full days. How much will that cost you? Not much at all:
- 300×250 - $35
- 468×60 - $30
- 120×600 - $15
- 125×125 - $10
- Text Ad - $5
If you’re a small blogger looking to gain visibility, but can’t afford banners elsewhere (A-listers) for $500+, this is the perfect opportunity for you. It’s also a great (low-cost) way to reach out to the blogosphere with your product.
Traffic Stats
In the first 10 days of the month, there has been over 5,000 pageviews from more than 3,000 uniques. Of course, this number will rise, as the month continues, and as more articles are published (giving readers more to look at).

Wow, how much did you buy slamblogger for? After I did a blog review for the previous owner on my old blog, bloggin-ads, this blog just stopped updating and eventually turned blank.
I sure hope you’re going to start “SLAMMING” bloggers like the past owner because that’s what brought A LOT of attention…especially from the likes of John Chow.

$50. I actually loved the domain name as soon as I heard about the site. A couple months later, I noticed the blog was inactive. Sent him an email and the deal was easy as pie.
Don’t worry, there will be plenty of slamming, lol. I’ve already done a “slam” post actually, titled “Contest: $100,000 in Prizes!!!”
The overall theme will be about slamming out the truth, but there will still be the occasional direct attacks when it’s needed.

Well, I don’t have a website and I am thoroughly confused about the basics of blogging and inernet marketing.I recently purchased an e-Book for $47.00 and there were a lot of misspellings and I began to think it was a BIG scam. I let it rest after a few hours of frustration and then strangly after trying to find a song from an arthritis commercial, I happened on this same topic of affiliate marketing and I thought it must be the direction I should pursue after my company let me go on November 11, 2008. I am tired of working inside the box and want to invest my time in learning about this new opportunity. Will someone give me the very best advice and resources to consider? I would a million times appreciate it!!

Hi Kathleen. There are many places where you can earn some money online. Often times you don’t need a website. Have you ever considered website flipping? Google it and see what comes up. Avoid the stupid “sales page” ads asking you to buy info on site flipping. If you look long hard, you’ll get some great information.
just one suggestions, hope it helps!
