Hey this is is a very hadly list indeed. I suggest adding ‘Google XML Sitemaps’ plugin (found over Wordpress plugins site) as it help in indexing the the blog over google correctly.

Noreover the generated XML file can be linked and added to your blog over ‘Google Webmasters’ or any other service.

@Monica - Thanks, that keeps me motivated to continue updating it! I know a lot of this would have saved me time when I first started out as well. I think a lot of bloggers forget that many of the resources they believe to be so common, are unknown to new bloggers.
